Discussing Best Practices for ETRM Systems Implementations
By: Bjorn Hagelmann, COO at MRE Consulting
Mike Short, CEO at MRE Consulting
MRE Consulting
Bjorn Hagelmann (formerly CCRO member from Strategic Energy) and MRE’s CEO Mike Short will be at the December meeting this Thursday to host a discussion regarding Energy Trading & Risk Management (ETRM) systems implementation. This has been an ongoing topic at past CCRO meetings – you may recall Bjorn’s related discussion in December of last year – (archive file available to members here)
We are thinking about possibly developing the topic into a paper about best practices and specifically practical experiences that members experienced in such implementations have shared. Perhaps a short paper entitled: “System Implementation: Top Ten Things the Best Risk Officers Know”....?
They have some slides, but they are hoping for this to be more of an open discussion than a presentation. Join us Thursday afternoon for this engaging discussion !
