Summit Format
This summit will specifically avoid the mundane typical conference of podium speakers with closed-end lectures.
Our format is based on the standard CCRO meetings, where attendees participate in lively, open discussions, that often lead to specific written work for the CCRO. To that format, this Summit will add a high-level structure of three ‘Segments’ running 4 hours each (with 30 minute breaks), each of which will break-down into smaller discussion topics. The Summit also includes various networking receptions at unique locations throughout The Woodlands.
Each major Segment is broken into five or six detailed discussion topics. These discussions will be led by one to three CCRO member “Topic Hosts”. Typically one perspective is presented in a slide or two by a host first followed with a discussion among the audience…. We know from our CCRO meetings this will generate some interesting insights. These discussions often leads to a “call for follow-up” of some kind by the CCRO, be it an article, paper, survey or other.
The Risk Priorities Summit will feature a unique layout (see right) to engage all attendees and create a unique experience. Topic Hosts will be seated at the center tables while guests and attendees seated on the elevated rings to allow for participation in the discussions.
